DEFCON Toronto
DEFCON Toronto, also known as “DC416”, was founded in 2016, and is the Toronto Chapter of DEFCON, the largest security conference in the world that takes place annually during the month of August in Las Vegas, Nevada.
DC416 organizes monthly meetups typically on the 2nd last Thursday of the month, where 150+ hackers, security professionals, and enthusiasts come together to listen to presentations on various security and hacking topics.
DC416 also organizes technical workshops and Capture the Flag (CTF) hacking events throughout the year. These workshops and CTFs have included “Binary Exploitation”, "Malware Traffic Analysis", and both Offensive Security and OSINT for Missing Persons CTFs.
